Attorney Gorovitz is originally from Philadelphia, and came to Boston in 1964 to enter the combined business-law program at Boston University. While at Boston University he was named to the College Business Honor Society, and became its President as well as President of the Senior Class. At the School of Law, he spent two years as a student teacher in the Boston Public Schools, and received initial courtroom training as an Assistant prosecutor in Norfolk County.
Following military service and graduation from Boston university School of Law in 1971, Attorney Gorovitz has committed himself to representing persons who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries, victims of sexual abuse, and particularly those individuals who have suffered from medical errors and malpractice.
Attorney Gorovitz resides in Framingham and is the father of five children. In his personal time he spent 11 years on the Framingham planning Board, including 3 years as its Chairman. in addition, he has spent many years coaching Bay travel soccer, basketball and baseball. Although he has never skated, Attorney Gorovitz enjoys traveling to watch his younger children play hockey at the juniors, high school and middle school levels.
